Founded in March 2020, Daedalus Safety Group was established in response to a consistent observation: the undervaluation and misapplication of health and safety at both the field and corporate levels due to poor program design. We set out to answer the question, "How much safety is enough?"

At Daedalus, we believe that effective safety programs must:

Accurately reflect the organization's scope of work
Be easy to understand, implement, and maintain
Deliver a synergistic, team-based approach to OHS consulting, auditing, and training

With operations throughout Ontario, Daedalus is capable of supporting clients province-wide, regardless of the remoteness of work locations or diversity of activities. As we grow, we plan to expand our customer support and operational footprint across Canada, without compromising the quality of our services

Scott Halling, Founder of Daedalus Safety Group Inc.

Scott Halling, President & CEO

Scott brings a solid 30-year track record in military service, law enforcement, security, construction, and occupational health and safety. His professional experience, garnered from operating in high-risk workplace environments worldwide, has made him adept at navigating complex safety challenges and protocols.

His competencies have facilitated the protection and promotion of client interests across various sectors, including commercial and heavy civil construction, oil and gas, petrochemical, and transportation sectors. Scott's technical understanding, paired with his extensive practical experience, ensures his value in managing and mitigating risks in challenging and technical environments.

With over 25 years of experience in leadership, training, and corporate Human Resources Management, Emma brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Director of Recruitment, Training, & Corporate Administration at Daedalus Safety Group. Over the past several years she has actively deepened her knowledge and expertise to include Ontario’s OHS framework, further enriching her ability to serve our clients and drive positive change.

Emma's passion for excellence and her unwavering commitment to ensuring the well-being and safety of others have been instrumental in her co-developing and leading our company's training development and delivery services. Her guidance and leadership have been key to our growth, and her dedication to professionalism permeates through every interaction with our clients.
